Youth learn leadership skills in specific career units and create Leaders at Work projects to accomplish personal goals in one (1) of six (6) career units related to Family and Consumer Sciences education: - Early Childhood, Education, and Services

- Textiles and Apparel

Each member may apply to be recognized as a Leaders at Work Outstanding Leader in one of the six career units. These young people are recognized at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference and earn an impressive accomplishment to add to their resumes.
